About

JoyBop is facilitated by Tessa Wilson, a Sussex-based dance and movement facilitator with a big love for music, people and collective joy.

Tess creates welcoming movement spaces rooted in inclusivity, care and lived experience. She is openly anti-racist, pro LGBTQ+, and anti-genocide, and believes that joy, community and embodied freedom are deeply connected to justice and humanity.

A proud mum, Tess brings heart, humour and warmth into everything she does. She loves colour, nature, raves, good people, micro-dosing, laughter, cuddle puddles (rarer these days), and moments of shared joy on the dancefloor. She’s deeply grateful for this life and passionate about helping others reconnect with their bodies in ways that feel safe, playful and alive.

Through JoyBop, Tess works alongside a trusted team of instructors to offer inclusive classes, events and experiences where people are welcomed exactly as they are.
